Judy Adler
Funeral service for Judy Adler, 63, Oak Grove, took place June 18 at Nowthen Alliance Church.
She is survived by her husband, John; daughters, Jody and Jeannie (Todd); sons, John Jr. and Cameron; 16 grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; mother, Florence Lauseng; brothers and sisters; mother-in-law, Evelyn Adler; and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Gilbert Lauseng.

Gayla Dick
Memorial service for Gayla M. Dick, 67, Coon Rapids, took place June 22 at Washburn-McReavy Coon Rapids Chapel.
Dick died June 16.
She is survived by her husband, Leon; children, Amy (Terry) Sunderland, Jackie Dick and Tony (Sara) Dick; grandchildren, Sam, Autumn, Jordan, Andy and Alisha; siblings, Gary (Mary) Polaczyk and Bruce (Barb) Polaczyk; and other family and friends.

Estelle Griffen
Funeral service for Estelle Gladys Griffen, 93, Anoka, took place June 14 at Faith Lutheran Church, Coon Rapids.
Griffen died June 8. She was born June 12, 1917 in Garner, Iowa, to Charles and Meta Griffen. Her career included teacher and numerous positions in the field of childhood education and development for the American Lutheran Church and state of Minnesota, then as a consultant and trainer for childcare programs.
She is survived by her sisters, Ruth Moerke of Morris and Marvel Wagner of Hoffman; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Eldo and Dale Griffen; and sister, Bernadine Smith.
Arrangements were by Washburn-McReavy Coon Rapids Chapel.
Joyce Hable
Funeral service for Joyce (Nedeau) Hable, 74, Coon Rapids, took place June 20 at Epiphany Catholic Church, Coon Rapids.
Hable died June 14.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth; children, Carol Stendahl (Rob), Deborah, Raymond, Dianne, Jeffrey (Donna), Christopher (Erin), Bradley; grandchildren, Tracy (Mike) Vratisovsky, Joel, Matthew, Jacob, Nick, Rebecca, Jeremy (Laura), Jennifer, Ryan, Allison, Courtney, Zachary; brothers, Mike (Karen), Richard (Dee), Patrick (Joan), David Nedeau.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother; and sister.

Carol Ingman
Celebration of life for Carol Jean Ingman, 76, Ramsey, took place June 16 at Zion Lutheran Church, Anoka. Rev. Norman R. Berg officiated.
Ingman died June 12 at Mercy Hospital. She was born July 26, 1934 in Isle to Donald Evan and Delvina (Barnier) Green.
She is survived by her husband, Gerald; children, Bruce and wife Lynnette, Cathy and husband Paul, Robert and wife Heather, Karen and husband Shawn; grandchildren, Scott and wife Jenny, Christopher and wife Sara, Amy, Jana, Justin, Matthew, Will, Kayla, Tyler and Brady; great-grandchildren, Isaiah Ollie, Indie, Ingrid; sisters and brothers, Donna, Ronald “Bud,” Evan, Diane, Janice and Joyce; many nieces and nephews; and family friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Donald; mother, Delvina; brother, Eddie; and sister, Jackie.

Leona Johnson
Funeral service for Leona Marie Johnson, 86, Anoka, took place June 18 at Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, Anoka. Rev. Norris Blackmon officiated.
Johnson died June 14 at Mercy Hospital. She was born March 10, 1925 in Rogers to Louis and Elizabeth (LaPointe) Dargis and was a retired hospital cook.
She is survived by her children, Paul O’Keeffe, Linda Norman, Michael (Annette) O’Keeffe, Dianne Hughes, Douglas (Lynda) Powers, Peggy (Norris) Blackmon and Mark (Beth) Powers; 14 grandchildren; 16 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Erwin (Phyllis) Dargis; and sister, Rosie (Dick) Bohn.
Interment was at Calvary Cemetery, Anoka. Arrangements were by Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, Anoka.
Richard Kiecker
Funeral service for Richard E. Kiecker, 86, Rogers, took place June 18 at Zion Lutheran Church, Anoka.
Kiecker was born in Spicer to William and Emma (Christians) Kiecker. He served in the U.S. Air Force and taught in the Anoka-Hennepin School District for 27 years.
He is survived by his wife, Audre; sister, Elaine (Miles) Johnson; sister-in-law, Jan (George) Fousek; nieces and nephews; and many relatives and friends.
Interment was private. Arrangements were by Methven-Taylor Funeral Home, Anoka Chapel.
Phyllis Larson
Funeral service for Phyllis Marie Larson, 70, Anoka, took place June 23 at Church of the Epiphany, Coon Rads. Rev. Gregory Abbott officiated.
Larson died June 16 in Clark, S.D. She was born Nov. 11, 1940 in Clark, S.D., to Sylvester and Dorothy (Nagelmeier) Michalski and was a registered nurse.
She is survived by her sons, James (Deanna) Larson, Dana (Julie) Larson; grandchildren, Daniel, Megan and Richard Larson; sister, Sally Jo (Greg) Ingemunson; sister-in-law, Rhonda Michalski; mother-in-law, Sylvia Larson; and nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Clarence Lyrek
Funeral service for Clarence Lawrence Lyrek, 79, Champlin, took place June 23 at Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, Anoka. Rev. Steven E. Perkins officiated.
Lyrek died unexpectedly June 19. He was born Feb. 20, 1932 in Delano to Peter M. and Genevieve (Theisen) Lyrek and was a retired machine operator at Andrew’s Knitting, where he worked for over 40 years.
He is survived by his wife, Elaine; children, Corinne (Roger) Olson and Rhonda (Jeff) Green; grandchildren, Lindsey and Brandon Olson and Cassandra Green; and siblings, Eleanor, Bernice, Steve, Pat, Jerry and John.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Genevieve; brother, Edward; and sister, Rosie.
Pallbearers were Roger and Brandon Olson, Jeff Green, Mark Salonek, Tony Hackenmueller and Kenny Kasper.
Interment was at Sunset Memorial Park, Minneapolis. Arrangements were by Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home.
Ray Mata Jr.
Memorial service for Ray G. Mata Jr., 70, Blaine, took place June 18 at Washburn-McReavy Coon Rapids Chapel.
He is survived by his wife, Judy; children and grandchildren; stepson, Jeff (Sandy); Kayla and Megan; and brothers and sisters, David, John, Terri, Rosie and Lucy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Catalina and Ray Sr.

Daniel Negrete
Funeral service for Daniel E, Negrete, 44, North Branch, took place June 17 at Emmanuel Christian Center, Spring Lake Park.
Negrete died June 12.
He is survived by his wife, Deanna; children, Tiffany, Mariah, Kassandra, Jordan and Noah; father, Ramon Negrete; sisters, Adele, Kathy (Rick) Garcia, Mona, Elizabeth; brother, Emmanuel (Lora); nieces, Alessandra, Gabriella and Liviana Negrete; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Gregorio and Delfina Negrete and Emilio and Sarah Montecinoa; and mother, Dolores Negrete.

Harold Peterson
Memorial service for Harold L. “Pete” Peterson, 86, Coon Rapids, took place June 16 at Washburn-McReavy Coon Rapids Chapel.
Peterson died June 8. He was a World War II Army veteran and a 60-year member of the VFW. He was retired from the Minnesota Department of Motor Vehicles.
He is survived by his wife, Evie; sisters, Aloha Schmidt and Cathy Jeans (Jim); brother-in-law, Vergil Plattner; stepchildren, Jill Steinke, Terry Pedersen (Bonnie), Joy Cook (Denny) and Chris Pedersen; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Nellie; son, Wayne; daughter, Karen O’Brien; stepson, Larry Pedersen; sister, Beverly Plattner; and brother-in-law, Bob Schmidt.

Gail Sawyer
Memorial service for Gail Christine Sawyer, 60, Champlin, took place June 17 at St. Stephen’s Catholic Church, Anoka. Rev. Mike Van Sloun officiated.
Sawyer died June 13 at Anoka Care Center. She was born Aug. 25, 1950 in Minneapolis to Walter Clement and Alice Ramona (Watson) Sawyer and was employed for 27 years at Hennepin County Medical Center.
She is survived by her siblings, Kathryn (Dennis) Muller, Thomas Sawyer, Carol (Jim) Hicks, Steven Sawyer, Jill (Dan) Kovar; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; and relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Wally and Ramona; and brothers, Jack and Tony.

Betty Schinkel
Funeral service for Betty Lou Schinkel, 79, Elk River, will take place tomorrow (Saturday, June 25), 11 a.m., at Thurston-DeShaw Funeral Home, Andover. Rev. Margaret Quill will officiate.
Schinkel died June 13 at Guardian Angels Care Center, Elk River, after a battle with cancer. She was born April 13, 1932 in Anoka to LeRoy Dossen and Ethel Fay (Webert) Wallace and was a retired housekeeper at Mercy Hospital.
She is survived by her children, Harris (Debbie), Linda (William) Murray, Mark (Ronda), Carla (Larry) Brusseau; grandchildren, Michael Roden, Tonya (Bobbie) Clark, Carl Schinkel, Lisa (Nick) Sulack, Mitchell and Tessa Brousseau; great-grandchildren, Triston and Camden Clark, Evelyn Sulack; one sister; four brothers; and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elroy.
Pallbearers were Larry and Mitchell Brusseau, Bill Murray, Mike Roden, Carl Schinkel and Tony Loyloa.

Ernest Soine
Memorial service for Ernest Irvin Soine, 97, Coon Rapids, will take place Friday, July 8, 11 a.m., at Zion Lutheran Church, Anoka. Rev. Norman R. Berg will officiate.
Soine died June 17 at Presbyterian Home of Roseville. He was born Jan. 6, 1914 in Ray, N.D., to Ove Julius and Christine Maria (Anderson) Soine and was a self-employed business owner at the Anoka Locker Plant for 30 years.
He is survived by his daughters, Kathleen (Bill) Miller, Maryanna (Kevin) Blomer, Pamela (Mark) Dryer and Valerie (Brad) Kopis; sister, Hazel Finney; grandchildren, Evan, Alaina, Colin, Joseph, Emily, Daniel and Deanna; great-grandchild, Eli; and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth; sisters, Mamie Pepper, Lillian Soine and Cora Holland; and brother, Vernon Soine.

Barb Wollenburg
Funeral service for Barb Wollenburg (Jamison), 63, Ramsey, took place June 21 at Zion Lutheran Church, Anoka. Rev. Mark Tiede officiated.
Wollenburg died June 14 after battling scleroderma for over 30 years. She was born in Onamia. She was a daycare provider for many years.
She is survived by her husband, Bob; children, Denise, Dawn (Dan) Jensen, Robert Jr, (Misty) and Deanna; grandchildren, Erin, Adam, Jacob and Jamison; siblings, Arlys (Ron) Selstead; Sharon (Ron) Schrader, Carol (Loren) Hoika, David (Sharon) Jamison, Raymond (Jean) Fuller, Paul (Nancy) Jamison, Jim Fuller, John (Judy) Fuller, Avis (Walt) Lampi, Jewell (Jeff) Plowman, Patti (Alan) Osier, Darlene Banyi, Donald (Carla) Jamison and Elaine (Joe) Kiphuth; sisters-in-law, Annette Jamison, Connie Fuller and Linda (Rob) Lane; and nieces and nephews.

Fred Zerk
Funeral service for Fred Zerk, 57, Hawaii, formerly of Coon Rapids, took place on a beach in Hawaii.
Zerk died suddenly May 28 from a rare lung disease. He was born in 1953 in Warroad, but grew up in Coon Rapids and graduated from Coon Rapids High School. He had lived in Hawaii for the past 17 years working as a heavy equipment operator for Parson’s Construction Co.
He is survived by his son, Kory of Hawaii; daughter, Stacy of Hawaii; mother, Lois of Arizona; brothers, Rod of Minnesota, Scott (Jacque) of Arizona; sisters, Mickie Johnson of California, Robin Vasecka (Doug) of Minnesota, Deb Bailey (Tim) of Minnesota; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Harold.
