Booster Day is a great time for East Bethel citizens to gather and enjoy a wholesome and fun-filled summer festival.
In order to make this event possible, many volunteers donate their time and energy to organize various aspects of the event.
Unfortunately, the city is running short on volunteers and is looking for more participants.
Wendy Warren, deputy city clerk for the city of East Bethel, said they need volunteers for the Booster Day Committee in general, but especially need someone to organize the parade.
The Booster Day Committee meets on the third Thursday of every month at 6:30 p.m. at East Bethel City Hall, so the next meeting is Feb. 16.
Booster Day is on Friday, July 20 and Saturday, July 21.
