Storms cost SLP almost $4,000

Spring Lake Park City Council learned Monday night the city has spent about $4,000 to clean up from last month’s two big snow storms.

But city public works director Chuck Rundle says the city’s snow plowing budget should remain in the black unless there are more snow storms to come.

He said there is enough money and enough road sand and salt for the city to get through the rest of this winter without too many problems.
