Dehn, 32, plans to perform two operatic pieces and one non-operatic song on this weekend’s Garrison Keillor’s “A Prairie Home Companion” radio show.

The show airs Saturday, April 7 on MPR from 5 to 7 p.m. It will be repeated Sunday, April 8 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Keillor caught Dehn’s performance in New York at the Met. He noticed in the program that she was from Anoka. He contacted her and booked her for his show, according to Ellie’s father, Doug Dehn.

The April 7 “PHC” show will air from Town Hall just off of Times Square in New York City.
