Similar to the first three years, the event begins at Ham Lake Lions Park, goes down old Central Avenue past Fire Station No. 1 and goes to Andover Boulevard before heading back to the park.

The whole route is about five kilometers and proceeds raised from registration fees and donations benefits the Ham Lake Fire Department’s Auxiliary and Relief Association.

Those who pre-register by April 28 are guaranteed an event T-shirt and a lower registration fee. This fee is $20 per person or $45 for a family. The regular fee is $25 per person or $50 per family and t-shirts may not be available.

People can register the day of the event, however.

To pre-register, visit www.raceberryjam.com and enter stop, drop and stroll in the search engine. Scroll down to find the May 19 event. From there, print out a registration form and mail this and a check to the event organizer.
