Ramsey business, environmental expos April 28

The annual Ramsey business and environmental expos will be Saturday, April 28.

The Business Expo is being held at The Fountains of Ramsey, 7533 Sunwood Drive N.W., from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The annual event promotes local businesses and gives people a chance to shop and learn about the businesses in one location, said Patrick Brama, event organizer.

Approximately 50 business, restaurants and public service agencies will be at the Business Expo.

There will be demonstrations, product samples and opportunities to ask questions, Brama said.

“From home ideas to photography and from jewelry to event hosting, you’ll find it all at the 2012 Business Expo,” he said.

A short distance away at the Ramsey Municipal Center, the Environmental Expo will feature live reptiles and raptors, master gardeners and tree care advisors to answer questions and businesses specializing in environmental-friendly and sustainable products.

The event will also include an artwork display from Ramsey Elementary School and free drawings for shade trees.

“What is unique about the two Ramsey expos is the fact they are located so close together. Residents can experience two great expos in one trip,” Brama said.
