Coon Rapids HS bets on ‘Guys and Dolls’

Coon Rapids High School steps back in time for its “Guys and Dolls” spring musical comedy. Directed by Karla Haij.

Based on stories of Damon Runyon, the show received Tony Awards for Broadway’s best musical in 1951 and best revival in 1995. The plot centers on Nathan Detroit, organizer of a floating crap game in New York. Detroit bets fellow gambler Sky Masterson that he can’t make the next girl he sees fall in love with him.
