Eisenhower collects money for ACBC

Tom Pellegrino, director of food and nutrition services for Osseo Area Schools, served lunch to students April 12.

Proceeds from the April collection will benefit the Anoka County Brotherhood Council (ACBC) food shelf.

April is the last month for the Kookies Penny Drive.

Since September, students and staff members have brought in change to help benefit a different organization each month.

September donations ($51.14) went to the Coon Rapids Police Department, October donations ($38.48) to the Coon Rapids Fire Department.

November donations ($24.72) went to the Coon Rapids Senior Center, December donations ($33.82) to the Christmas Committee, January donations ($58.54) to the Coon Rapids North Star Lions, February donations ($14.61) to the American Cancer Society and March donations ($13.21) to Alexandra House.
