Diva Days Women’s History Tour

History is filled with strong women who shaped the world the communities that we live in today. But their stories have sometimes taken a back seat to those of men. The Anoka County Historical Society will take you on a one-hour walking tour around downtown Anoka Saturday, May 5 to explore the lives of these women.

During the tour, walkers will be introduced to Pearl Ghostley.

The tour starts at 2 p.m. at the Anoka County Historical Society, 2135 Third Ave., Anoka.

The stories of Anoka’s first female doctor, a Civil Rights activist and other women of the community will be featured.
