Bengal pitcher delivers complete game shut-out against Huskies

When the 9-3 Andover Huskies came to Blaine’s baseball diamond last night (May 9), Bengal lefty Matt Rotzien pitched a complete game shut-out, striking out eight and allowing the home team the 1-0 win.

The Bengals’ winning run came with two out in the fourth when centerfielder Stephen Schneider hit a single and drove in the game’s only run.

Last night’s game was the first shut-out recorded against Andover this season.
