Funeral service for Bernice Chmielewski, 74, Coon Rapids, took place May 25 at Church of the Epiphany, Coon Rapids.
Chmielewski was first-grade teacher for many years.
She is survived by her husband, Don; children, Janee (Chris) Udalla and David Chmielewski; grandchildren, Ashleigh, Christopher, Adaeze, Patricia and Donna; sisters, Lillian (John) Niedzielski and Nancy Krawiecki; brothers, Richard (Sharon) Krawiecki and Roger (Rose) Krawiecki; and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Al and Clara Krawiecki; and sister, Doreen Anderson.
Interment was at Epiphany Cemetery, Coon Rapids. Arrangements were by Washburn-McReavy Coon Rapids Chapel.
Funeral service for Luella S. Giddings, 99, Anoka, took place May 26 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Modena, Wis. Rev. Daniel Pfaffe officiated.
Giddings died May 22. She was born Jan. 2, 1913 in Minnesota City to John E. and Clara (Noeske) Squires. She worked at Munsingwear in Minneapolis as the credit manager for over 30 years.
She is survived by her son, Stanley (Barbara) Giddings of Anoka; daughter, Rachel (Herbert) Blank of Tempe, Ariz.; 12 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; many great-great-grandchildren; two great-great-great-grandchildren; sister, Alice Colwell of Rochester; and nieces, nephews and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Leo Hazelton and Wayne Giddings; daughter, Charlotte Drake; her parents; eight brothers; and three sisters.
Interment will be at the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church Cemetery. Arrangements were by Kjentvet-Smith Funeral Home, Mondovi, Wis.
Memorial visitation for Alvin Sanford Grant, 74, Bethel, took place May 24 at Strike Funeral Home – Isanti Chapel.
Grant died May 21. He was born Jan. 16, 1938 in Minneapolis to Burton and Ivabelle (Gibbs) Grant. He served in the Army, was on the Bethel City Council for several years and also served as mayor. He was a member of the Bethel Fire Department and the Bethel Lions Club.
He is survived by his children, Wendy Grant and partner Cindy Grewe of Hopkins, Alvin “Chip” (Shay) Grant II of Stanchfield and their children, Chase and Chesney, Bob Roppe of Isanti, Lynn (Richard) Christensen of Mora and their daughter, Elycia, Jim (Jodi) Roppe of St. Francis and their children, Jimmy, Samantha, Adam, Joseph and Sarah; great-grandchildren, Philip, Morgan, Adriona and Jayden; sister, Janice Dares of McVille, N.D.; and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Jason; two brothers; and one sister.

Funeral service for Sharon Lee Hagen, 74, Blaine, took place May 24 at Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, Anoka. Chaplain Bonnie Nash officiated.
Hagen died May 20 in St. Francis. She was born April 18, 1938 in Minneapolis to Hugh Byron and Gretchen Rosella (Bernhagen) Campbell and was a personal care attendant at Mary T in Coon Rapids.
She is survived by her daughters, Jody (Bradley) Rolfe, Shannon (Harold) Harris and Janelle (Joe) Cotrone; seven grandchildren; one great-grandson; sisters, Dawn Anderson and Diane Campbell; brothers, Kent (Norma) Campbell and Keith Campbell; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, LeRoy.
Interment was at Morningside Memorial Gardens, Coon Rapids. Arrangements were by Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, Anoka.
Funeral service for Melvin J. Jenneke, 84, Coon Rapids, took place May 25 at Church of St. Timothy, Blaine.
Jenneke died May 21. He was born April 27, 1928 in Waconia.
Interment was at Morningside Memorial Gardens, Coon Rapids. Arrangements were by Gearhart Funeral Home, Coon Rapids.
Memorial gathering for Jerome “Jerry” L. Lundgren, 71, Chisago City, took place May 26 at Washburn-McReavy Coon Rapids Chapel.
Lundgren died May 21.
He is survived by his sister, Carol Weicherding (Sheldon); brother, Edwin Lundgren; children, Mark (Kaytie), Melanie Hanson (Robert), Tena Krall (Mike) and Monika; grandchildren, Thomas (Kim), Christopher, Mikey, Andrew, Brooklyn, Justyn and Tristyn; great-granddaughter, Hailey; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ken and Elizabeth.

Funeral service for Judith Ann Reese (Mengelkoch), 70, Henning, formerly of Coon Rapids, have taken place.
Reese died May 13. She was born April 4, 1942 in Richfield to Raymond and Dail (Liljegren) Mengelkoch. While living in Coon Rapids, she worked for West Publishing and New York Life Insurance Co. and at Epiphany Catholic Church, she formed and directed a music group, Joyful Noise.
She is survived by her husband, David; children, Tim of St. Francis, Mike of Kelliher, Lisa (Jim) Newenhouse of West Fargo, N.D., and Dan (Brenda) of Henning; grandchildren, David, Nate, Greg, Lindsay, Jack and Tyler; and siblings, Jim (Karen) Mengelkoch of Apple Valley, Janet (David) Himmer of Bloomington, Suzi (John) Unze of Minnetonka, Jim (Colleen) Mengelkoch of Apple Valley and John (Kristen) Mengelkoch of Minneapolis.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Gregory.
