The state tournament tees off at Bunker Hills Golf Course June 12 and 13.

In yesterday’s 5AAA action, the Blaine Bengals lady golfers finished first in the team tournament, sending all of them to the state tournament, while the Andrews sisters, Hannah and Caroline, also made the cut and qualified as individuals.

Spring Lake Park Panthers boys’ golfer Nick Auman also qualified for the state tournament as an individual.

In team tournament action, Blaine finished fifth, ahead of sixth-place Spring Lake Park, 10th-place Anoka and Coon Rapids, which finished in 11th place, but with their lowest team score of the season.

In Section 7AAA action, Andover boys finished second behind Forest Lake in the team tournament and also had Huskies Davis Tollette and AJ Oster qualify as individuals for the state tournament.

Sierra Langlie of the Andover girls, meanwhile, qualified for the state tournament when she finished the sections in third place individually.

Finishing lower than third in the section team tournament, Andover girls did not advance to state as a team.
