Huskies fare well in Class 3A golf tournament

Three Andover High School golfers teed off at Bunker Hills in the Class 3A state golf tournament last week and finished in favorable fashion.

Sophomore Sierra Langlie shot a 160 to finish tied for 10th best girl overall in the 2012 Class 3A girls’ state golf event.

Langlie was the Huskies’ sole female golfer in the tournament, while on the boys’ side, fellow Huskies, seniors Davis Tollette and AJ Oster finished 20th and 27th, respectively.

After shooting 155 strokes for the two-day tournament, Oster finished tied for 27th place, while Tollette finished one stroke ahead of Oster to finish the June 12 and 13 tournament tied for 20th place overall.
