Customers can go to the city’s website at www.coonrapidsmn.gov to register for eUtilityBilling.
Once on the city website, customers should click on the eUtility Billing icon to get to the new utility billing website to make credit or debit card payments.
The new system allows customers to:
• Make payments 24/7.
• View billing history and payment history.
• View water consumption history.
• Receive electronic billing statements.
Under the new system, customers can only pay with their credit/debit card if they go to the eUtility Billing website or if they pay at the utility billing counter at the Coon Rapids City Center.
Residents are also being encouraged to sign up for automatic payment withdrawal from their checking/savings accounts through the eUtility Billing website.
According to the city website, eUtilityBilling saves time, money and resources.
For every 100 utility billing customers who convert to electronic processing, the city will conserve 800 envelopes, 400 pieces of paper and $180 in postage each year, making eUtilityBilling an environmentally and fiscally responsible option, the website states.
There is no fee to use the eUtility Billing payment method.
