A store manager working at a Northtown Mall lingerie and beauty products store recently reported the theft of more than $2,000 worth of bras and panties.
According to a Blaine Police Department incident report, the sexy undergarments were reported stolen from Victoria’s Secret shortly before 7 p.m. June 3.
The store manager told police none of her employees saw the items being stolen, but the store’s theft deterrent device sounded after a black male and female left the mall store.
The pair were described as a black male in his 20s with short hair wearing a blue jacket and blue jeans and a black female also in her 20s with long brown hair wearing a black coat.
According to the police report, the store manager said a customer did see the suspects, but the manager didn’t get the customer’s name or telephone number for follow-up.
Northtown Mall security was contacted. Police were still waiting for surveillance video for the time the incident report was filed.
