Medicare classes hosted by library

Anoka County Library is presenting free Understanding Medicare classes this summer for seniors and those who care for seniors.

Find out what is covered by Parts A, B, C and D of Medicare and the Medicare supplement options available.

Learn how and when to enroll in Medicare and the personal costs of the program.

Other topics discussed include changes to Medicare due to recent health care reform, the donut hole and eligibility for extra help with prescription drug costs.

Classes will take place at Rum River Library, 4201 Sixth Ave. N.W., Anoka, Tuesday, June 26, 1:30 p.m.;Crooked Lake Library, 11440 Crooked Lake Blvd., Coon Rapids, Tuesday, July 17, 1:30 p.m.; and• Mississippi Library, 410 Mississippi St. N.E., Fridley, Wednesday, July 18, 1:30 p.m.
