Coon Rapids welcomes 110 teams to soccer tourney

More than 100 teams from across the state of Minnesota and western Wisconsin joined more than one dozen local teams for the annual Coon Rapids Soccer Association (CRSA) invitational girls’ soccer tournament June 22-24.

In the June 24 CRSA Cardinals vs. IGH Heat U17 game, Coon Rapids came out on top, winning 2-1.

The Coon Rapids Soccer Complex, Anoka-Ramsey Community College and Moor Park played host to the contests, pitting girls of all ages against formidable opponents.

U11/12 C1/2: Minneapolis United Black

U11 C2: Eden Prairie EP Fusion

U11 C3: CC United Firecrackers

U12 C3: Prior Lake Soccer Lakers

U13/14 C1: Arsenal FC Enforcers

U13 C2: NESA Lightning

U13/14 C3: Inver Grove Heights Heat

U14 C2: Hudson Soccer Club

U15/16 P/C1: NSSA Blast

U15/16 C2: White Bear Lake Bears

U15 C3: NESA Lightning
