Funeral service for Barbara J. Bennington, 73, Coon Rapids, took place June 29 at Epiphany Catholic Church, Coon Rapids.
Bennington died June 25. She was the retired secretary for the Minnesota Women’s Bowling Association.
She is survived by her husband, Daniel; children, Diane Alkire, Denise (Don) Saylor, Dan Jr. (Cindy), Dennis and Donald (Rachel); 14 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and other family and many friends.
Arrangements were by Washburn-McReavy Coon Rapids Chapel.
Memorial service for Brandon Lee Chilstrom, four months, Blaine, took place June 27 at Oak Park Community Church.
He died June 23 and was born Jan. 24 in Fridley.

Funeral service for Gottfrid “Fred” Erickson, 92, Brooklyn Center, took place June 30 were held at Edinbrook Church, Brooklyn Park.
Erickson died June 22. He was born Nov. 21, 1919 in Buffalo to Axel and Anna Erickson. He was a longtime employee of Minnegasco.
He is survived by his daughters, Penny (Glen) Mattson and Linda (Tim) Vanderpoel; sons, Bradley (Eloise) and Dana (Leilani) Erickson; sister, Pearl Morris; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathryn; and son, David.
Interment was private. Arrangements were by Kozlak-Radulovich Blaine Chapel.
Funeral service for Jeanette S. Johnson, 87, Coon Rapids, took place June 23 at Faith Lutheran Church, Coon Rapids.
Johnson died June 19. She was born Sept. 9, 1924 in Soderville to Hans and Carolyn Hanson. She and her husband were former owners of Northview Harbor Resort on the Whitefish Chain of Lakes.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth; children, Kathleen Johnson, Kevin (Patty) Johnson and Renae (Jeff) Szymanski; grandchildren, Aaron (Katie) and Nick Szymanski, Kristen, Paul and Janelle Johnson; and sisters, Hazel Goranson, Agnes (Rollie) Eull and Carol (Dan) Weidner. Interment was at Morningside Memorial Gardens, Coon Rapids. Arrangements were by Kozlak-Radulovich Blaine Chapel.
Funeral service for Rodney W. Johnson, 73, Coon Rapids, formerly of Duluth, took place June 29 at Kozlak-Radulovich Blaine Chapel.
Johnson died June 23. He was born Jan. 21, 1939 in Minneapolis to Waldemar and Elvira Johnson.
He is survived by his son, David; stepsons, Bart May (Kristen) and Bret (Tina) May; grandchildren, Ben, Bailey and Mikayla May; and former wives, Shelley and Kaye.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Waldemar and Elvira.
Interment was at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. Arrangements were by Kozlak-Radulovich Blaine Chapel.
Memorial service for Arvin E. Lenz, 82, Coon Rapids, took place June 30 at United Methodist Church of Anoka.
Lenz died June 26. He was retired senior vice president of the First National Bank in Anoka, a member of the Anoka American Legion Post 102 and past master of the Anoka Masonic Lodge.
He is survived by his wife, Loretta; sons, Mark (Theresa), Douglas (Sue) and Jack (Renee); grandchildren, Mathew, Samantha, Stephanie, Kailee, Zachary, Sean and Elliot; sister, Marlys (Al) Ledin; brother, Earl (Gwen); and nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Nathe died June 25 at Mercy Hospital. He was born April 14, 1953 in Minneapolis to Raymond and Veronica (Hoppe) Nathe and was the owner of Riverside Farms in Elk River and 101 Market in Otsego.
He is survived by his wife, Maude; sons, Eric, Bryan and Craig; grandson, Ryker; siblings, Ronald (Julie), Marilyn (Erwin) Specht, Arlene (Jim) Fligge, Rosie King, David, Al and Kenneth (Julie); and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Veronica.

Funeral service for Jacob Alan Rhode, 29, Ramsey, took place June 28 at Thurston-DeShaw Funeral Home, Andover. Rev. Doug Johannsen officiated.
Rhode died June 24 in Mounds View. He was born March 7, 1983 in Coon Rapids to Richard Alan and Pamela Ann (Elliott) Rhode and was a maintenance engineer at Anoka County.
He is survived by his son, Owen; mother, Pamela Olson (Gary Rankin); father, Rick (Char) Rhode; stepfather, Butch (Rose) Olson; brothers, Bryan (Brenda) and Mike (Casey); grandparents, Fred and Shirley Rhode, Audrey and Larry Lembke, Harvey and Pam Elliott; nephew, Nathan; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Interment was at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Arrangements were by Thurston-DeShaw Funeral Home, Andover.
