Visitation for Rusty Lee Bittis, 36, Bethel, took place July 11 at the Strike Funeral Home – Isanti Chapel.
Bittis died unexpectedly July 5, 2012. He was born in Minneapolis Feb. 13, 1976 to Robert and Wendy (Beckman) Bittis and worked in construction.
He is survived by his mother, Wendy Bittis of Bethel; daughters, Lacie and Olivia; brother, Judd (Alicia) Bittis of Bethel and their children, Brodey, Jackson and Ella; grandfather, George Bittis of St. Francis; and aunts, uncles and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert.

Funeral service for Cleon D. Dilks, 89, Anoka, took place July 11 at Church of St. Stephen, Anoka.
Dilks died July 5. He was born June 27, 1923 in Anoka. He was a World War II veteran of the Army Air Force.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret; children, William, Robert (Kathy), Patricia (Bob) Rewey and Guy Charles (Tammy); 13 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Guy F. and Hazel I. Dilks.

Funeral service for Patrick Thomas Ferguson, 83, Coon Rapids, took place July 3 at St. Stephen’s Catholic Church, Anoka. Rev. Ralph Talbot officiated.
Ferguson died June 29 at Unity Hospital. He was born Aug. 12, 1928 in St. Paul to Timothy Clyde and Agnes (O’Keefe) Ferguson and was a retired Anoka-Hennepin School District 11 teacher after 30 years.
He is survived by his wife, Carol; sons, Jack (Margie) and Steve; grandchildren, Sam and Anne; sisters, Eleanor Hoetger and Alyce Ferguson; and brother, John.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Agnes and Clyde; and sister, Mary Cunningham.
Pallbearers were Ken Sundstrom, Ed Smart, Joel Dye and Dale Hartje.
Interment was at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Arrangements were by Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, Anoka.
Funeral service Edward Garbacz, 88, St. Francis, took place July 9 at Trinity Lutheran Church, St. Francis. Rev. Timothy Vaughan officiated.
Garbacz was born June 13, 1924 in Weyerhaeuser, Wis. He was a veteran of World War II, serving aboard the USS Otter DE210 in the Atlantic Theater, and was recalled to active duty at the outbreak of the Korean War, serving aboard the USS O’Brien DD725. He was a member of the Coon Rapids VFW and the St. Francis American Legion, and was retired from Prudential Insurance.
He is survived by his wife, Doris; sons, Keith, Jon, Mark and David; stepdaughter, Virginia Sobcinski; stepsons, Arthur, John, Dennis and Donald Harrington; brothers, George, Henry and Ray; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Maximilan, Rexford and Benjamin Garbacz and Eric, Adam and Patrick Harrington.
Interment was at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Arrangements were by Methven-Taylor Funeral Home, Anoka Chapel.
No funeral service for Linda R. Morris, 64, Cedar, took place at her request.
Morris was a 24-year employee of Fairview Wyoming Hospital.
She is survived by her children, Kristin Novlan, Laura (Todd) Schwartz, Richard (Debbie) Lambert; grandchildren, Bailey Novlan and Lacey Lambert; sister, Barbara Patnode; and nephew, Robert (Kazumi) Torkildson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Grace Morris; and special friend, Roger Kinneman.

Redden died July 30. She was born March 3, 1948.

Sucky died July 1. He was born Sept. 5, 1958 in Robbinsdale to Richard and Barbara Sucky and was a truck driver.

Wanous died June 30 at North Ridge Care Center, Crystal. She was born March 2, 1916 in Owatonna to William Joseph and Josephine Agnes (Kovar) Stransky.
She is survived by her children, Josephine Parvey, Marilyn (Harley) VanGieson, Severin (Bonnie), Sue (Roger) Muecke and Gary; 19 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; 17 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Dorothy Steinbauer; and sister-in-law, Dorothy Sindelar.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Severin; son, Darwin; and son-in-law, Charles.
