PGA pros invite locals to ‘get golf ready’ at Bunker Hills

Local golf enthusiasts are invited to get acquainted with the game on a whole new level as they participate in Get Golf Ready July 17 through Aug. 17.

The Minnesota Section PGA and Bunker Hills Golf Club offer new and intermediate golfers the opportunity to “get golf ready” under the instruction of PGA/LPGA professionals during the month-long program.

Get Golf Ready is a nationwide program that offers a series of five introductory lessons featuring instruction regarding the game’s rules, significant on-course learning opportunities, etiquette, history and values.

This is a unique opportunity to “get outside with friends, enjoy the beauty of the golf course, and learn a fun and healthy sport in a friendly group setting,” said Jon Tollette, executive director of the Minnesota Section PGA.

Get Golf Ready lessons are presented in a small-group environment at Bunker Hills, located at 12800 Bunker Prairie Road, Coon Rapids.

Cost for the program is $99 per person.
