Booster Days takes place at the East Bethel Community Center, Booster Park West, Booster Park East and on the East Bethel City Hall property, which are all along Palisade Street and north of 221st Avenue.

Many popular activities such as the Friday movie night and the parade on Saturday are once again part of the festivities. New events include a free Minnesota Twins baseball clinic Friday afternoon at Booster Park West and “Musikal Mayhem at the gazebo,” which will feature local teen bands, according to Denise Lachinski of the Booster Days committee.

A new 1K fun run/walk for kids will follow the 5K race for the adults on Saturday morning.

If there is inclement weather, some events may be moved to new locations. The baseball clinic backup spot is at Cedar Creek Community School. The backup site for the Friday night movie is the East Bethel Ice Arena.

The parade begins at 11 a.m. and travels south on Palisade Street from 229th to 221st avenues.

Throughout Saturday, there will be food for sale, a craft and bake sale in the senior center, a quilt raffle, silent auction, inflatables, local business booths, a treasure hunt for the young courtesy of People’s Bank and a drawing for the East Bethel Fire Department to bring a fire truck to a birthday party for someone who is 10 years old or younger.

The North Anoka County Emergency (NACE) Food Shelf, which supports people in East Bethel and surrounding communities, will accept food and monetary donations at its booth on Saturday.

The fireworks show at dusk will conclude the city celebration. The fireworks are courtesy of the Booster Day Committee and the city of East Bethel.
