Brenna Morgan, 2011 Anoka Royal Ambassador, will be participating in the Minneapolis Aquatennial July 15-21 in the Queen of the Lakes Scholarship Program.
During her stay Morgan will participate in judged events – interviews, formal presentations and public events. She will also have an opportunity to see the city visiting restaurants, riding in the Torchlight Parade and volunteering at local charities. Her week will culminate with the crowing of the 2013 Queen of the Lakes and two Princesses Friday, July 20 at the Ted Mann Concert Hall.
Morgan is the daughter of Shannon Berg and Brian Morgan, both of Ramsey. Her sponsor is B and K Swiss in Ramsey. She is a 2011 graduate of Anoka High School and currently attends the University of Minnesota-Duluth majoring communications and Spanish with a minor in business administration.
She is one of three 2011 Ambassadors. The other 2011 Ambassadors are Taylor Nelson and Katelyn Regenscheid.
