She received the van June 29 when Gary Levine, executive director Free To Be, Inc., presented her with the keys.

Employed by Cub Foods, she is a single mother of three small children who will be able to retain her employment as well as fill a transportation gap in her life.

The Caravan was donated by an Andover resident and then repaired at Coon Rapids Auto, a one-a-month shop that donates its time and labor to help Free To Be fulfill its mission of fostering independence in family’s life.

“We are always in need of vehicles for donation,” Levine said.
