The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) of Minnesota is offering a free educational course in Coon Rapids that helps families gain a greater understanding of mental illness, discuss resources, build communication skills, reduce stress and find support.
The Family-to-Family course will meet weekly on Tuesdays for 12 weeks.
The course starts Sept. 4, from 6:30 to 9 p.m., at the Church of the Epiphany, 1900 111th Ave. N.W., Coon Rapids. It is taught family members who have walked the walk. Registration is required; call Becca at 763-755-6290.
