“Our dancers look forward to performing at the fair every year. There is always so much energy with the crowd cheering and dancing along with the girls,” said Dee Manuel, Blaine Dance Team’s fall head coach.

“The team has been working really hard since the season began in mid-August. In addition to local parades, our fall team performs at football games, pepfests and dance shows,” Manuel said.

On Saturday, Oct. 6, the Blaine Dance Team will host its 18th annual dance clinic at Blaine High School. The clinic will be open to dancers from kindergarten to eighth grade.

Participants will learn a routine and are invited to perform at the Blaine Dance Show on Saturday, Oct. 13. For more information, visit the Blaine Dance Team website or find them on Facebook.

The 2012-2013 Blaine Dance Team is led by captains Brianna Jevnager, Peyton Meade and Kassi Richels. The fall team is coached by Manuel, Megan Schuelein, Stephanie Mitchell and Chelsea Erickson.
