Banfill-Locke celebrates arts

Banfill-Locke Center for the Arts in Fridley held its annual Art at Rice Creek festival Sept. 9.

The event featured live music, poetry readings, dance performances, puppets, portraits, art workshops and demonstrations, garden tips and seed giveaways, a quilt raffle, an art treasure hunt, kids craft activities, art and craft vendors and more.
