Jamie Erdahl has joined the CTN Studios announcing team for this year’s fall coverage of Coon Rapids High School football.
Erdahl is the current sports reporter for Fox Sports North’s television broadcasts of the Minnesota Lynx professional women’s basketball games.
She made her CTN debut Aug. 30 when Coon Rapids hosted Totino Grace live at 7 p.m.
Erdahl missed one high school sports game due to a conflict with the Minnesota Lynx Sept. 7.
Matt Nelson will fill in on the sidelines for the Sept. 7 football game. He is the host of Gopher Sports Update and has worked for the Big Ten Network and KSTC 45 as a sideline reporter.
Erdahl and Nelson join the award-winning team of Joe Yund and Howie Shapiro of CTN Studios, who are returning for their 16th season as sports announcers for the station.
Yund and Shapiro cover the majority of all CTN Studios prep games and are also the hosts and co-producers of “Sportsnight,” a weekly sports highlight program featuring Coon Rapids High School sports.
