Erdahl and Nelson join the award-winning team of Joe Yund and Howie Shapiro of CTN Studios, who are returning for their 16th season as sports announcers for the station.

Yund and Shapiro cover the majority of all CTN Studios prep games and are also the hosts and co-producers of “Sportsnight,” a weekly sports highlight program featuring Coon Rapids High School sports.

CTN Studios has received top honors for its football coverage among community cable television stations nationally.

The station has been honored with a national Hometown Media Award in seven of the last eight years from the Alliance for Community Media.

CTN’s local programming is available only on Xfinity (Comcast) cable. Games are live in Coon Rapids on cable Channel 15.

Other surrounding Anoka County communities can also view programming from CTN during the hours of 6 to 11 p.m. on cable Channel 18.
