The Lodge provided several kinds of ribs prepared by some of the Masonic BBQ teams such as the Bones Brother’s, as well as having coleslaw and beans to anyone who came by, asking for donations of money and or dry or canned materials for the food shelf.

Music for the event was provided by Brian “Cool Hand” Luke, with local firefighters from the Anoka-Champlin Fire Department and Anoka County Sheriff James Stuart as well as officers from the Anoka Police Department all coming by to say hello to the public and join in the festivities.

A total of over $2,400 and 78 pounds of food were raised and are being matched by other organizations providing the food shelf with much needed funds.
