Anoka’s Dingman to be inducted into Minnesota Softball Hall of Fame

Diane Dingmann, a softball player from Anoka, will be inducted into the Minnesota Softball Hall of Fame with a banquet ceremony Saturday, Nov. 3 at the River’s Edge Convention Center (St. Cloud Civic Center) in St. Cloud.

The Hall of Fame biennually recognizes indivuduals who have made outstanding contributions to the sport of softball. Those recognized include players, managers, umpires, sponsors, promoters, administrators, organizers, volunteers and members of the media.

Tickets to the banquet cost $40 and can be obtained by visiting www.msf1.org or by calling 763-263-9993. Deadline to reserve tickets is Oct. 26.
