Both had been repaired, free of labor, by one of Free To Be’s one-a-month shops.

Blaine Quality Auto repaired a 2003 Dodge Neon and Beck’s Auto repaired a 1999 Chevrolet Monte Carlo.

Free To Be has about 25 one-a-month shops that will repair a donated vehicle, free of labor, approximately once a month, according to Gary Levine, Free To Be executive director.

“Without their support, the cost of repair would be too high for our nonprofit to provide a helping hand,” Levine said.

“To help a family, consider donating a vehicle or providing financial support.”
