Broomball league to start in Coon Rapids
A new broomball league begins at the Coon Rapids Ice Center in early December.
Starting Dec. 3, co-ed broomball teams will play on the outdoor refrigerated rink at the ice center.
This will be a non-contact, officiated league open to broomball players age 18 and older.
The league is open to the first eight teams that register.
Games will be played Monday evenings at 6 p.m., 7 p.m., 8 p.m. and 9 p.m.
The team will play seven games in the league.
The entry fee is $385 per team.
A registration form can be found on the city of Coon Rapids’ website at www.ci.coon-rapids.mn.us.
The registration form can be mailed with payment to Coon Rapids Ice Center, 11000 Crooked Lake Blvd., Coon Rapids, MN 55433 or dropped off during ice center hours Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Deadline for teams to enter is Nov. 5.
