Nobody hurt in Highway 65 accident in Blaine

Nobody was hurt in a three-vehicle accident that occurred this afternoon (Oct. 23) on Highway 65, north of Main Street/125th Avenue N.E. in Blaine, according to a Blaine Police Department sergeant.

Sgt. Ben Johnson said the accident occurred around 3 p.m. on the 12700 block of Highway 65.

Johnson said a truck struck a stopped car, which pushed it into and partially underneath a SUV that had stopped in front of it. There was one person in the truck, one in the car and two in the SUV.

No citations were issued, Johnson said.

Traffic was briefly diverted away from the accident scene on Highway 65, but the highly traveled highway was quickly reopened.
