Legion hosts craft, gift fair, bake sale

Thirty-eight vendors came to the Coon Rapids American Legion Post Oct. 19 and 20 for the 30th annual Coon Rapids American Legion Auxiliary’s craft, gift fair and bake sale.

The event features crocheted, knitted, embroidered and quilted items for sale as well as jewelry, holiday decor, gift items, rugs and a variety of merchandise.

In addition, there were door prizes and concessions.

Baked goods made by Legion Auxiliary members were also on sale.

Proceeds from the craft sale and gift fair went to the auxiliary’s veterans programs; scholarship programs benefited from the bake sale.

The craft, gift fair and bake sale ran eight hours on Friday and seven hours on Saturday in the Legion hall.
