There were 190 kids and their parents at Aquatore Park in Blaine Saturday evening for the flashlight pumpkin hunt and family dance.
According to Nate Monahan, a program supervisor with the Blaine Parks Department, the city has capped this annual event at 200 children so attendance has been steady.
Once again there were many fun activities for the kids, who had to be 10 years old or younger to participate.
Each child was able to use their own flashlight to search for a pumpkin in the park.
The flashlights also came in handy when the kids and their parents played bingo.
When they needed to warm up, they could sip on a cup of hot chocolate and sit by a fire and make a s’more.
The evening concluded with a dance, and each participant was able to take home a treat bag that included cool glow-in-the-dark items.
