Trick-or-treaters in a wide variety of Halloween costumes, along with parents, family members and friends, lined up in front of and round the side of the Cub Foods store for several hours before the 11 a.m. parade start.

They were entertained by the Mouldy Figs Jazz Variety Band and two men in Halloween costume on stilts.

Each treat-or-treater received a treat bag from parade sponsor H.J. Development, the owners of the shopping center.

And as they passed each store in the shopping center, they were handed candy and other goodies by employees stationed outside the stores.

At the end of the route, trick-or-treaters headed for a large tent set up in the parking lot where they could pick out free pumpkins, gourds and other Halloween decorations.
