Coon Rapids Senior Services will host a Veterans Day event at the Coon Rapids Civic Center Friday, Nov. 9.

Doors will open at 11 a.m. with the program starting at 11:30 a.m.

Entertainer Betty Rydell will sing some patriotic songs then a noon meal will be served.
