One incumbent will remain on the Oak Grove City Council following Tuesday’s general election. Two seats were up for grabs.
Councilmember Scott Lawrence was the top vote-getter with 1,917 votes. Sean Sullivan finished second with 1,622 votes.
Current Councilmember Kevin Robinson was third with 1,589 votes.
Renee Reece-Murray received 1,024 votes and Weston Rolf 991 votes.
There were 22 write-in votes.
Lawrence will begin his second term as councilmember when he is sworn in in January.
Sullivan is currently vice president of the city’s planning commission and also served on the Anoka Conservation District Board of Directors for 10 years.
Robinson was appointed to the council two years ago to fill the remaining term on a vacant council seat.
