Struttin’ Toms, Paintbrush Shooters donate turkeys to ACBC foodshelf

Eager to help make seasons bright, the Struttin’ Toms paired up with the Paintbrush Shooters and together the two chapters of the National Wild Turkey Federation (NWTF) bagged some 972 pounds of frozen turkey, then donated the birds to the ACBC food shelf Tuesday evening.

“(We were able to give the) food shelf 88 turkeys to help families of need this Thanksgiving holiday to have a traditional Thanksgiving meal,” said Keith Carlson, president of the Struttin’ Toms.

After raising $1,350, representatives of the two NWTF chapters picked up the turkeys at the Cub Foods, Coon Rapids South (located on Northdale Boulevard) and then delivered them to the food shelf.

This turkey donation has become an annual tradition for the Struttin’ Toms and the Paintbrush Shooters.
