The documentary will also air on Saturday, Dec. 8, 1 a.m., 7 a.m., 1 p.m. and 7 p.m., on tpt Life Channel 2.3.
“The Sharing the Fire” exhibition is traveling through the state at the following locations: Bemidji State University Talley Gallery through Nov. 16; and Winona State University Watkins Gallery Jan. 9 through Feb. 1, 2013 with workshop and lecture by Bresnahan, one of the featured Minnesota potters, Jan. 26, 2013, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The goal of the project has been to encourage and record the rich history of ceramics in Minnesota.
The project was made possible by a 2011 folk and traditional arts grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board received by Anoka-Ramsey Community College and coordinated by college art faculty member Mark Lambert.
Anoka-Ramsey is also a fiscal year 2012 recipient of a folk and traditional arts grant for the project from the Minnesota State Arts Board.
These activities were funded, in part, by the arts and cultural heritage fund as appropriated by the Minnesota Legislature with money from the Legacy Amendment vote Nov. 4, 2008.
