KleinBank ‘Swipe Local and Share Local’ effort

In the spirit of sharing during the holiday season, KleinBank is introducing a special “Swipe Local and Share Local” program.

In addition to providing donations to local families in need, this program encourages and supports holiday shopping at local businesses in the communities KleinBank serves, which include Coon Rapids.

From Nov. 23 to 25, every time customers swipe their KleinBank Debit MasterCard for purchases, KleinBank will donate five cents to local agencies in the 19 communities they serve to help families in need during the holiday season.

“KleinBank has been committed to the success of our customers and the communities we serve since 1907,” said Doug Hile, president/chief executive officer of KleinBank.

“Through our commitment to the KleinBank CARES program, this is one more way we can support growth of our local businesses and provide needed funds for families to enjoy the holidays together.”

The Klein family entered banking in 1907 when C.H. Klein first bought stock in First National Bank of Chaska.

Today, with assets totaling over $1.5 billion and a financial team of 400 banking professionals, KleinBank is Minnesota’s largest family-owned state bank.
