Leegard earns achievement award from state realtors
Lynn Leegard of The Place for Lofts in Coon Rapids was awarded the Ed Anderson Political Achievement Award by the Minnesota Association of Realtors (MNAR) at its awards and installation lunch in Minneapolis.
The Ed Anderson Political Achievement Award is named in honor of Ed Anderson and is a tribute to his outstanding dedication to the real estate industry both locally and nationally in the areas of politics and public policy.
Leegard has been a member of the Minnesota Association of Realtors since 1985 and has been in the industry for over 25 years.
Not only is she a past president of MNAR, she is an attorney and has been involved in the governmental affairs, professional standards, finance, nominating, forms and public advocacy committees as well as an RPAC Trustee.
Leegard has a long history of service and contributions in the political and public policy arenas. She has attended various planning and zoning and city council meetings.
She is a regular attendee at legislative impact day and is part of the Minnesota delegation that makes the hill visits in May in Washington, D.C., to meet with elected members of the House and Senate.
Leegard has also been a member of the RPAC President’s Circle and a Golden R contributor for many years.
At the National Association of Realtors, Leegard serves on the Legal Action Committee, was a member of the second graduating class of the NAR Leadership Academy and served as a regional vice president for NAR.
The Minnesota Association of Realtors is the state’s largest trade association with over 16,000 members involved in all aspects of the residential and commercial real estate industries.
