Tree lighting planned for Nov. 30 in Nowthen

A tree lighting celebration is planned for Friday, Nov. 30 in Nowthen.

It is the third annual tree lighting event planned by the Nowthen Lions Club.

Festivities begin at 7 p.m. with the tree lighting set for 7:30 p.m.

Proclaim! hand bell choir will perform.

There will also Christmas carol singing, refreshments, treats and a message from Mayor Bill Schulz.

Santa and Mrs. Claus will also be on hand.

A special guest will flip the switch to turn on the tree.

The tree lighting is held at Nowthen City Park, 19800 Nowthen Blvd.
