North Suburban Concert Band and chorales to perform yule concert

The North Suburban Concert Band, NSCB Chorale and Twin Cities Youth Chorale team to perform their annual concert. This year the theme is “Sing We Now of Christmas.”

Two concerts will be performed Saturday, Dec. 8 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 9 at 2 p.m. at Andover High School.

Among many varied selections, the band will perform such classics as “Sleigh Ride” and “Go Tell It on the Mountain.” The NSCB Chorale will sing “The Three Kings” and “Glory to the Newborn King” and the youth chorale will perform “I Wonder as I Wander” and “Falling Snow,” to name a few selections.

John Rosner conducts the band, Duane Malewicki directs the NSCB Chorale and Ann Wingert-Williams and Julie Bright (assistant artistic director and accompanist) lead the Twin Cities Youth Chorale.

Tickets are available by mail only. Concerts sell out quickly. Send a check, payable to NSCB, with a stamped, self-addressed envelope to NSCB Concert Tickets, 12050 Stoneridge Road, Dayton, MN 55327. Orders received after Dec. 2 will be held at will call.
