Hannah A. Craft, 16, of Ramsey, was killed last night (Nov. 26) while jogging across Highway 10 in Anoka.
Emergency crews responded to the accident just after 7:30 p.m. where a pedestrian had been struck on Highway 10 near Verndale Avenue.
The teen was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Anoka County Sheriff’s Office.
Police report it appeared the girl was jogging across the highway from the south at the uncontrolled T-intersection with Verndale Avenue, when she was struck by a westbound car in the left lane.
The driver of the vehicle, a 39-year-old man from Mound, sustained minor injuries in the accident.
