The team worked together to produce 27,432 meals and pack 127 boxes of food, which will feed 75 children for an entire year.

Feed My Starving Children is a non-profit Christian organization committed to feeding God’s children hungry in body and spirit.

Since its inception in 1987, Feed My Starving Children has produced over 600 million meals.

The approach is simple. Children and adults hand-pack meals specifically formulated for malnourished children and ship the meals to nearly 70 countries around the world.

“The Blaine dance team has received tremendous support from local businesses over the years and they wanted to find a way to give back to our community,” said Trina Develice, Blaine dance team’s head coach. “Volunteering at Feed My Starving Children provided our dancers with a meaningful opportunity to help children in need and eliminate hunger around the world. With the holidays fast approaching, it was a great way to get into the holiday spirit.”

The 2012-2013 Blaine dance team is led by captains Brianna Jevnager, Peyton Meade and Kassi Richels. The winter team is coached by Trina Develice, Tricia Eckerman, Jessica Jones, Kelsey Bolton and Stephanie Mitchell.
