Santa will join forces with the Ham Lake Fire Department to make a pre-holiday scouting trip throughout the city.
Santa will hop on a fire truck and visit neighborhoods throughout Ham Lake on three separate days next week.
Thursday, Dec. 6 from 6 to 9 p.m., Santa will travel the entire width of the city from the south border to 145th Lane N.E.
Friday, Dec. 7 from 6 to 9 p.m., the entire width of the city from 146th Avenue N.E. to Constance Boulevard will be the selected route.
Saturday, Dec. 8 from 5 to 8 p.m. Santa will travel the entire width of the city from Stance Boulevard to the northern boundary.
As they visit the neighborhoods, firefighters will hand out candy canes donated by the Ham Lake Chamber of Commerce. They will also be picking up food shelf donations from residents.
The fire department asks that children and their parents walk out to the end of their driveways or the entrance to cul de sacs and dead-end streets to see Santa and receive their candy canes.
Santa and his drivers will make every effort to cover the entire city, but the size and area may not allow for travel down every street in the time available.
