This is the first of holiday season events taking place at the Andover community center.

Guests are invited to lace up their ice skates and skate with Santa at the community center’s ice rink Sunday, Dec. 16 from 3:30 to 5 p.m. The admission price is $4 per child and $5 for an adult. The community center also rents skates for $3.

A new event this year will be a New Year’s Eve party for families.

The party is Monday, Dec. 31 from 1:30 to 4 p.m. at the community center fieldhouse and ice rink.

Inflatables will be set up in the gym, but there will still be plenty of other room for basketball and other fun games. The cost per person is $5. Skate rentals will once again be available for an additional $3.
