Senator-elect John Hoffman (DFL-District 36) has been moving into his new office located in G-24 of the State Capitol Building.
Hoffman, who has resigned his District 11 School Board seat, will be sworn in Jan. 8, the first day of the 2013 legislative session.
He will serve on the following Senate committees: vice chairperson of the Environment and Energy Committee, the E-12 Finance Division of Education, Health and Human Services Policy Committee and the Elections Subcommittee.
Senate District 36 includes parts of Coon Rapids as well as Champlin and Brooklyn Park.
