Anoka Area Kiwanis volunteer to make Christmas brighter

The group also received some book donations from individuals and schools.

Half Price Books started donating books last spring until end of November which amounted to about 30 boxes of books.

Anoka Area Kiwanis have been involved in some capacity with this Christmas event for many years. This year about 20 Kiwanians, family and friends donated approximately 150 hours to serve the almost 1,000 families that came to the Armory to pick up toys, food, mittens, hats and books for their family.
