The special veterans guests came from the Minneapolis VA Medical Center – because of bad weather the veterans from the St. Cloud VA Medical Center were not able to attend.

Other guests attending were Don Pankake, American Legion Department commander, and Bob Locker, the Tenth District commander.

The post’s Sons of the American Legional prepared the meal of varieties of wild game donated by many post hunters. Darrel Redepenning, post chairman of this event, was the master of ceremonies.

The American Legion Auxiliary brought cake and ice cream and a Christmas card and candy for all of the veterans. After the program, veterans enjoyed games of bingo with cash prizes.
